ABOUT US

A TRULY UNIQUE STUDIO ENVIRONMENT

We have put our heart and soul into creating a truly unique studio environment which has been thoughtfully designed to take our clients on a photographic experience from in front of the camera to behind the scenes . . . Our unique studio premises were built in 1906 of which the main studio areas were once part of the old town fire station complex and the other part was the basement boiler house for the original Edwardian Shipley Pool.

Now the entire building has been restored incorporating loads of old features with a modern interior design twist – making the perfect setting to showcase examples of our work, whilst simultaneously providing  an insight of ‘behind the scenes’ where all the teams working/production spaces are incorporated into the customer areas; a bit like a chef in a modern ‘open kitchen’ restaurant! This also gives our clients plenty of inspiration for their own homes to showcase their own wall portraits, in many different spaces and unique ways, all of which will be lovingly created by our team of experts to suit your own home and will last for generations to come.

Take a look around . . .

A COMPLETE DAY OUT FOR ALL THE FAMILY

Many of our clients travel to us from all over Yorkshire and beyond. Fortunately, our studio is located within a few minutes’ drive of the historic village of Saltaire, designated a world heritage site and home to Salts Mill, which hosts the famous David Hockney exhibition.

There is something here for the whole family to enjoy, whether it be a visit to the fantastic Roberts Park, a barge trip along the canal, or browsing in the many lovely boutique shops.

There is also a great selection of places to eat and drink, including a riverside pub, several cafes and bars, a cakery and an ice cream parlour, so why not make a day of it!

WHERE TO PARK

We recommend you park in the ASDA car park, just a minute’s walk around the corner from our studio. It offers free parking for up to 2 hours.

For those using SatNav, ASDA’s postcode is BD18 3RY Our studio postcode is BD18 3QH

Please note: Although our actual postal address (19 Well Croft) has the postcode BD18 3QH this may not direct you to our front door on all SatNav systems. More likely, it will direct you to the pedestrianised area which is also called Well Croft. Therefore, if you do wish to come direct to our front door by car (to drop off changes of clothes, large props or any family members) we recommend you come from the A6038 (Otley Road) turning on to Kirkgate at the junction of The Sun public house/Barclays bank, and continue past the Shipley market square on your left. After the market square, turn left on to Manor Lane which then becomes Well Coft at the corner.

You will see our studio on the right hand side.

After dropping off, continue to the top end of the road (passing the Shipley Swimming Pool) and at the junction, turn left. Turn left again into the next road – this leads to the entrance of the ASDA car park on its upper level. We recommend that you try to park on the lower level of the car park as this offers the most direct route to our studio.
